He is a patient tutor who makes sure that he tailors his approach to each student. I both had him tutor me and for my younger brother. He takes the time to explain concepts in their simplest forms and builds up towards exam practice well. He makes sure to use a lot of examples and tries to relate content to everyday life when possible. He approached SEND needs very well and could provide comprehensive study advice.

When I first started as Jacks student, I was predicted a grade E in physics, I had never passed a physics exam and was struggling with both the content and my confidence in the subject. After lessons with Jack I received the grade I needed in physics to go to university. Jacks lessons are structured very well, with him making the student think about the whole problem instead of just going through a checklist. Furthermore Jacks summary’s on lessons allow the student and parents to understand where there child exceeded and struggled, and what the plan is next to combat the parts of the course that they are less confident with. I couldn’t recommend Jack more to people.
