About Samuel Alexander
Throughout my years in education, I have learnt that any student has the capacity to achieve high grades. I myself was given the target of a grade 4 or below in a number of subjects, yet found that through dedication and persistence, alongside expert teaching, a deeper understanding of any topic can be attained, which came through when I showed them teachers wrong and got myself them 9s! I am passionate to assist students to realise their own potential and reach or even surpass any given grades or targets. I take pride in a teaching style that is enthusiastic, patient and well-organised and I aim to motivate and equip any student to do their best. I specialise in the subject areas of maths and the sciences but I am adept across a wider range of subjects and am capable of tutoring across a range of areas.

My lessons are always tailored individually to each student with a focus on developing understanding which can then be applied to solving advanced problems. Lessons can vary from between 20 minutes explaining a certain concept to 2 hours deep diving into an entire topic. I have been a tutor for over 2 years and have experience tutoring all levels from GCSE to A-level and pre-university.
