About Joseph
My name is Joseph and I have been working in the field of Chemistry for over 8 years! I have a bachelors and masters degree in chemistry with special focus in organic chemistry. My rigorous studies have instilled solid foundation in physics and math.
Beyond my personal aptitude in these subjects, I have been involved with high school outreach throughout my undergraduate studies helping students in physics and math - so I know how to talk to students.
I also taught chemistry, environmental chemistry, and organic chemistry to undergraduate students during my graduate school tenure.

I can personalize a lesson in any area you may be struggling! We can first engage in a broad understanding of a subject, then work through examples together, and finally focus in areas that don't quite make sense.
My style of tutoring is very collaborative, engaging, and extremely friendly! I believe in a cooperative engagement style to help build solid problem-solving foundations in order to tackle any question that might come up in a midterm, final, or standardized test.
