About Freya

I’m a Math tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. I specialize in helping non-STEM majors understand advanced mathematical ideas without stress or intimidation. My teaching is holistic, focusing on meaning, structure, and relevance rather than heavy computation. I believe math makes sense when you see the ideas behind it.
To support this, I use everyday analogies that connect abstract concepts to familiar experiences. I also weave in historical context, sharing how great thinkers developed these ideas and why they mattered. This approach highlights the big ideas behind complex theories instead of isolated formulas.
I also support learners who carry math phobia from past experiences. Together, we slow things down, ask better questions, and rebuild understanding step by step.
