About Ian
I was once a student and understand the trials and tribulations of that life and the expectancies that accompany it. I want to help other students to progress through their curriculum-related problems with confidence and ease. Through a professional yet casual atmosphere, I intend to teach new skills, hone existing ones, and give students the tools to succeed well after tutoring.

I start by assessing my student's learning style. Then I tailor my teaching approach to a combination of student comfortability and goal achievement progress. Then, at a speed set by the student, we progress through specific troubleshooting of formula problems or incremental progress towards a new skill/goal. My lessons can be taught to elementary grade students to 200 level college students.
