About Dahlia
My passion for jazz piano began at a young age when I first heard the vibrant and soulful sounds of jazz music. The intricate melodies, rich harmonies, and dynamic rhythms captivated me, sparking a lifelong love for this genre. This passion has driven me to immerse myself in the world of jazz, funk, blues, pop, and RnB, constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and refine my skills. Every note I play and every chord I discover fuels my enthusiasm for sharing this beautiful art form with others.
Teaching jazz piano allows me to combine my love for music with my desire to inspire and educate. There is nothing more rewarding than watching my students develop their own passion for music, seeing their eyes light up when they master a difficult piece or understand a complex concept. I am dedicated to creating a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and push their boundaries. My aim is to instill in them the same excitement and appreciation for music that has enriched my life.
I am particularly passionate about helping students understand the deeper aspects of music theory and harmony.
