About Henry
Hi, I’m Henry — a self-taught chef with professional experience in Michelin-starred kitchens and a love for sharing the magic of cooking with others. I’ve worked in some of the UK’s top restaurants, from leading pastry sections to helping plan creative seasonal menus. Now, I bring that same passion to personalised cooking lessons designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and real skills — whether you're a complete beginner or looking to level up. My sessions are fun, hands-on, and totally tailored to you. Want to master the basics, try out new techniques, or create restaurant-style dishes at home? I’ve got you. I can also offer themed classes (e.g. pasta from scratch, baking fundamentals, plant-based meals, desserts, etc.) or help you build a specific repertoire. As a qualified teacher, I’m also great at breaking things down simply and clearly — ideal for nervous cooks, children, or anyone who’s never felt at home in a kitchen. As a Michelin-Star trained chef and former teacher, I will be able to give top-quality lessons that are tailored to you. We can cover anything from absolute basics to high-end fine dining. Given my background as a teacher, I am happy to work with any age group. From ages 5 and up. A typical lesson length can be 1-2 hours depending on what you wish to cover.
