About Sienna
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Guitar Major). Music has always been more than a skill for me; it is a language of creativity and expression. I am passionate about helping students discover their unique sound.
My teaching approach is supportive, motivating, and structured for real progress. I believe every guitarist can grow with the right guidance and consistent practice. I focus strongly on scales, fretboard knowledge, and rhythmic training to build a solid technical foundation. Strong timing creates confident musicians.
I also specialize in creative composition and arrangement. I guide students through songwriting techniques, chord progressions, melodic development, and dynamic performance skills. Lessons are practical and inspiring.
I mentor Intermediate to Advanced players who want to refine their technique and artistic voice. I also work closely with aspiring professionals preparing for recordings, auditions, and live performances. My goal is to help you perform with confidence and authenticity. My guitar teaching approach combines strong technical foundation with creativity and mindful awareness. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, whether they want to perform, record, or simply play for personal joy. Lessons are structured yet flexible.
I focus on posture, hand positioning, rhythm control, tone clarity, and clean transitions between chords and scales. Slow practice is a key method in my teaching, because controlled repetition builds accuracy and confidence. We break complex passages into small sections and master them step by step.
I also use music as a mindfulness tool. Students learn to breathe with the rhythm, relax tension in their hands, and stay present while playing. This improves timing, tone awareness, and emotional expression.
For students who dream of the stage or the studio, I guide them in stage presence, improvisation, songwriting, recording techniques, and sound shaping. We work on dynamics, phrasing, and developing a signature tone. My goal is not only to teach guitar skills, but to help every student grow with confidence, passion, and artistic identity.
