My Background I’m a qualified English teacher with over 15 years of classroom experience. I hold a Master of Education from the University of Waikato and have taught many students in both English Language and Literature. Over the years, I’ve helped learners of all levels improve their writing, analysis, and overall love for the subject.

My Approach to English Language Tutoring
Hi there! I believe learning English should be enjoyable, creative, and meaningful. Every student learns differently, so I design my lessons to suit your interests, goals, and learning style. My aim is to help you gain confidence, think critically, and express yourself clearly — whether you’re studying for exams, improving your writing, or exploring literature.
How I Teach
My lessons are interactive and student-focused. I love using discussions, short activities, and real examples from books, poems, or films to make learning come alive. I also guide students through:
Understanding and analysing texts
Building strong essay writing skills
Preparing for exams with helpful strategies
Developing vocabulary and grammar naturally through conversation
Lesson Length
Most lessons run for about 1 hour, but I can easily adjust to 30, 45, or 90 minutes depending on what works best for you.
