About Robin
Teaching is my passion, and English is my favorite subject. Being a recent graduate sets me apart because I have a deeper understanding of Secondary Age Students. I am currently a middle school teacher, but I studied to be able to teach anyone from 6th to 12th grade. I love Classic Literature and Poetry. But, I also love simple readings and grammar work.

My philosophy is rooted in my recent English Secondary Education degree: effective learning happens when students understand the why, not just the what. I move beyond simple corrections to build genuine comprehension and confidence.
My lessons are flexible depending on the student. As a recent college graduate, I am well-versed in the latest teaching standards, curriculum trends, and digital tools used in today's classrooms. I am available to help 6th—12th graders. I am fluent in helping students with basic grammar comprehension to AP Test Preparation.
