About Josephine
I am a chess tutor with 7 years of experience, teaching students from school to college level. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them develop strong skills, strategic thinking, and a love for the game. My teaching philosophy focuses on building a solid foundation in tactics, strategy, openings, and endgames while making lessons interactive and enjoyable. I believe every student can improve with patience, practice, and guidance, so I tailor my lessons to each learner’s level and goals.
I encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through real-game examples and exercises. Many of my students have excelled in school and college tournaments, and I take pride in supporting them to achieve both confidence and skill. My sessions combine structured learning with flexible, student-focused approaches to ensure steady progress. Whether a beginner or an advanced player, I aim to make chess learning engaging, practical, and rewarding.

My goal is to make students confident, strategic thinkers who can enjoy and excel at chess.
