About Mya
As a student I always struggled with engaging in lessons due to teachers just reading of a PowerPoint, I aim to do better. I want the student to enjoy learning and fully understand. I have always loved chemistry and even decided to move to Italy for one year to gain experience in a laboratory, this has furthered my enjoyment of chemistry. I also enjoy cooking, swimming and dancing!

Before starting tutoring I like to get to know how the student studies, if they prefer going through questions or solidifying knowledge first. From that I will either create summary sheets or mind maps or PowerPoints to help the student understand the content. Once the content has been taught and the student is comfortable I will create some quizzes to test the knowledge, including some past paper questions. I believe this is the best way to ensure the student can apply the knowledge
