About Stephanie
I have a bachelors of science and a masters of science in cellular and molecular biology. During this time and afterward I have been a TA (teacher's assistant) for organic chemistry and a biology and chemistry tutor.
During these times I have learned that I enjoy teaching students and trying to kindle a love of biology in them.

My style of teaching is to encourage my students to develop independent critical thinking skills. I will adjust lessons to each student, where it ranges from a structured lecture to an open discussion honing skills. I am willing to prepare lessons on interests the student may have in biology, spend time going over scientific paper reading skills and creating strategies to read papers, and how different disciplines connect.
