About Robert
Throughout my high school and university career I have been a highly applied student, very focused on understanding key concepts and ideas rather than route learning. I personally believe this type of learning affirms greater knowledge in a student and allows better performance in exams. I have done aid work in Cambodia on two occasions, teaching English and math to physically disabled students, this has allowed me to experience and help students overcome adversity while studying further allowing me to gain experience in actually teaching. I have also taught in a more peer-related capacity, I often held study groups within highschool, teaching my peers the parts of the syllabus I may have understood better than them. I have always had a passion for teaching and tutoring allows me to engage this passion in a unique and engaging way.
