About Yuyang
I hold an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE and graduated as a top programme performer in Economics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh. As a recent graduate, I understand the challenges students face and want to share the study methods that helped me master difficult concepts, solve problems systematically and succeed academically.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. I explain concepts intuitively before introducing formal theory, worked examples and exam-style questions. For macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, statistics, Stata and R, lessons combine theoretical understanding with practical problem-solving and interpretation.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or technical topics. My lessons are suitable for A-level and IB students, university students studying economics or quantitative subjects, and applicants preparing for university applications or interviews. I aim to create a patient, interactive environment where students understand the reasoning behind each method rather than simply memorising answers.
