About Naomi
I'm a mum of 5 kids. My youngest is 5 and my eldest is 16. My children are all GREAT at school. I have home-schooled all of them, but the two older children started at a public school at age 12 and are doing exceptionally well.
I love to work with children and help them figure out what their strengths are and what helps them learn to their full potential. Every child is born with great success inside them!
I also enjoy working with adults, especially when taking a conversational approach to English. I have watched many students quickly improve their speaking skills with this method.
I like to have fun and make learning fun too.

Hi ! I'm Naomi and I have been teaching for 18 years. My experience has been in New Zealand primary schools, International schools in other countries, home-schooling my OWN 5 children to great success, and also teaching English online for the last 5 years.
I would LOVE to help you or your child with fun private tutoring. ️
Lessons are tailored to suit each student's specific needs. I will use pictures and books or other content that I think is appropriate.
I teach from age 5 - 10 for NZ curriculum English, or I can do reading tutoring to help your child get a boost and quickly level up their reading.
I have also had 5 years teaching English as a second language online and have had students from age 3-70+ from all around the world. When teaching English as a second language, I prefer to take a conversational approach as I feel that this helps students develop their English very quickly and most exercises and theory work can be done alone without a tutor. I am happy to prepare homework for students if I think it will help them.
Lesson times will depend on age and concentration span of individual students from 20 minutes to 1 hour.
