About Saajan
I graduated from Loughborough University with First Class Honours in Mathematics with Economics. Having studied maths in extensive depth and achieved the highest grade, I understand how challenging the subject can sometimes feel. Over the years, I’ve developed and learnt tips, tricks, and ways of thinking about maths, that helped me perform maths at the highest level — and I now enjoy sharing those methods with my students. I believe many people have a misunderstanding about what maths really is and how powerful it can be when understood properly. It’s one of the most valuable subjects for developing logical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence — skills that last well beyond school and into life.

My approach focuses on building a clear, logical understanding of maths rather than memorising formulae. I teach students to develop strong intuition by using real-world examples and analogies that make abstract ideas simple and relatable. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and exam board. I specialise in the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications, but also teach students from any exam board. My method combines deep concept understanding with a focus on past paper practice, ensuring genuine understanding, confidence, and the ability to apply maths both in exams and real-life situations.
