About LJ
I am currently an Actor Musician student at the London College of Music, this means I study singing, acting, musicianship, music writing and direction.
My main instrument is guitar, I have been playing for around 14 years now and have played in musical theatre pit bands for the likes of pippin, the Adams family, Evita and more. However, I am proficient also in bass guitar, ukulele, piano, drums and clarinet.
Singing styles I am proficient in both performing and teaching are pop, rock and musical theatre both contemporary and legit.
I have taught one to one music lessons such as singing and guitar for many years and during COVID times ran my own performing arts academy before stepping down from there in order to have more time to focus on my studies... Running businesses requires lots of work and what I truly love is music, the arts and the teaching of them!!
I love sharing that which I love... The arts,it gives me so much joy to teach and share what Iknow about music with others!!

My lessons are tailored to you, if you ask me that's what's most important about lessons, finding the perfect balances between learning, developing skills and enjoyment ensures the best progression.
If you'reinterested in exams, there are many different exams I can take you through, ranging styles and difficulties. Likewise if exams aren't for you, that's ok too!! You will still learn just as much from not doing exams and we can work together on developing those skills.
I am also able to help you with your GCSEs and ALevels for both performance aspects, writing aspects and theory.
If you want to learn about songwriting and improve your music theory skills as well ask skills in using manuscript writing softwares in order to improve your writing, I am also well versed in these areas, having composed lots of music including for short films, and love teaching these skills.
I have many years experience teaching ranges of ages and abilities, and can offer online lessons, or Ican come to you you are in the west London areas.
