If you decide to take private tuition, the following will help you achieve your goal quicker.
-Before we start:
a) Find yourself a good motive. A good motive leads you through academic difficulties and overcomes your weaknesses more actively.
b) List your academic strengths and weaknesses. This list gives you things to rely on and things to look forward to. And it provides me a guidance for preparing and giving the lessons.
-When we meet:
a) Try to understand, not to remember steps. In each session, I often provide the "big pictures" and techniques to help you to understand. If you don't get them, stop me and ask for the explanations again.
b) Ask lots of questions. As a personal tutor, my responsibility is to help you progress, not to judge you in any way. So write down your questions and bring them up.
-After our tutorial:
a) Revise and relate to other topics. When I prepare for new lessons, I will assume that you have remembered things from the previous ones. So revise and correlate your knowledge with other topics, more importantly, embed it back to the "big pictures".
b) Feedback my tutoring. After each lesson, have couple of minutes to summarise the session and bring me your ideas soon as we meet again.

Perfect! Wenn was able what seemed like very complex problems really simply and quickly. Thank you Wenn
Perfect! He has very clear explanations for topics which I didn't initially understand, and had different ways of explaining topics to help with my understanding. Definitely would recommend as a tutor!

I can highly recommend Wenn as a Maths and Physics tutor. He quickly struck up a great relationship with our son and got work out of him that I wouldn't have believed possible (and that he certainly hadn't been motivated to do in the past).
Our son's 'A' levels moved up two grades in one set of exams and my only regret is that I didn't employ Wenn sooner. The thing that I really like about Wenn is that he provides a great role model into the bargain. He works in a really focused way, never missed an appointment and always turned up on time and well prepared. Book him before someone else does!
Wenn is a fantastic tutor. He explains problems in a way which has made it really easy for me to understand and has given me the confidence to do well in my AS exams this summer....
Ween has allayed my daughter's anxieties regarding her Maths A2 with his patience, thoroughness and excellence as a teacher. No mean feat!
I really thank Mr. Humphreys because he helped me a lot explaining many of the fundamentals of linear algebra and using MATLAB. Especially I have not used this program never before and I am now happy I can use with confidence and that all in a short period.so now i think i dont need any course of MATLAB because he tought me the basic thing on it.
Wenn is an excellent tutor. His level of the Knowledge in University mathematics is quite high(he teaches me Algebra and Statistics). In my eyes his lectures is even better than the professors, as he can always find a way to make you understand the key. After his lectires i can easily answers homework and even harder questions. I will definitely choose him to be my tutor next time. Many thanks to Wenn.
