About Tim
I have been teaching for ten years on guitar, bass, ukulele and mandolin. I also offer lessons in music theory, songwriting, recording techniques, stage coaching and post-secondary audition prep. I have been performing, recording and making music for over 15 years. In that time I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing musicians from around the world and travel the country as well as abroad.

From beginner students to more advanced levels, I teach based on solid foundations in theory, ear training, and instrumental technique. My lesson plans are individually designed for a student’s area of interest and skill level, being taught with the philosophy that learning music should be both an enjoyable and inspirational experience.

Perfect! Tim is great, I had a group lesson (me and my daughter) and we liked learning guitar with Tim, he makes the lesson fun and interesting.
Perfect! Tim was way above the normal in terms of being a great teacher. He is amazing I can’t say enough good things about his approach and knowledge of guitar (lessons that I took) it is such a pleasure to interact with him. He makes it really easy to keep your practice going. A real musician and gentleman.
