About Daisy (Sheng)
I am a middle-aged Chinese lady. I have been staying in New Zealand since 2008. Why do I want to be a Chinese teacher?
This idea came from one of my sad learning experiences. One day, I followed a local lady who taught me English in my early years in New Zealand. I queried her using "what" instead of "pardon". She suddenly changed her face to unhappy. However, when we miss our hearing, we use "what" in Chinese to conform, but in English, the same word means impolite! So, language is not only words or grammar but also including culture. That's why I want to be a Chinese teacher to help you!
