About Justin
I am a Linguist out of Louisiana with a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics concentrating in the English Language. I have been giving lessons in English for many years, beginning during my undergraduate studies in 2008 and have taught in the classroom at both the High School and College Level. My students have been a mix of both native English speakers and English as a second language learners. The lessons in the classes focused largely on the development of the students' writing - creative writing and technical writing - and vocabulary. I also do work in Language Conservation, working with the Atakapa tribe to develop language learning materials and offering classes to the first generation of new speakers of the language.

As a linguist, I have a highly developed and specialized skill set with which to analyze and pinpoint problem areas of my students. I offer services to high school students, individuals looking to attend college, college students, and even non-student adults who simply wish to improve upon their writing and/or develop a deeper vocabulary.
