One of the things I noticed right away with Nico, compared to other piano teachers, is his genuine passion for the art. Before lessons, I would often see him reading about music theory or hear him sight-reading, which showed me how much he loves what he does. When he explains theory, he does so in such an intuitive way that it just makes sense.
Nico is also a very trustworthy teacher, he always offers to reschedule lessons if I can't make it, and he tailors each session to what I want to learn. Unlike some teachers who rigidly stick to Suzuki or AMEB books without much inspiration, he keeps lessons engaging and adaptable. Not only has Nico significantly improved my piano skills, but his passion for music continually inspires me.

Nico has taught me piano for the last 3 years. He is an excellent teacher and I’m absolutely thrilled with my progress! From the start, his teaching style was approachable and encouraging. He has a great ability to break down complex pieces and explain them in a way that's easy to understand. Not only is he incredibly skilled at piano, but he also has a passion for teaching that really shines through in every lesson.
Hes always encouraging and helps me to pursue pieces of music I like, which makes sure I'm engaged and always improving my technique. He has also helped me book and prepare for all my exams. He is organised and honest about my abilities, but knows when to push me to achieve more.
