About Rain
I am a certified teacher with over a decade of classroom and virtual teaching experience. I also have a TESOL certification and experience teaching English Language Learners, as well as neurodivergent learners. I adapt my lessons and teaching style to meet the needs of each student. What I love about math is that there are many ways to find the solution to the problem, and the right way is your way.

I will break concepts down and check for understanding throughout the lesson. I scaffold and adjust my pacing to suit the needs of the students. I will use visuals, mnemonics, real-world examples, discussion, guided notes, and games to ensure a deep understanding. I strive to make learning fun and instill confidence in each student.
My classes are very personalized. I have full lessons prepared for 4th-8th grade math, SAT Prep, ACT Prep, and middle school science. Each lesson is designed to be adapted to suit individual students. However, I can also use the materials and homework the student is using if preferred.
