About Paula
Hi, I’m Paula, a qualified English teacher with over 12 years of classroom teaching experience and 15 years of tutoring students of all ages. I’ve helped learners from preschool through to adults, including students preparing for IELTS, improving their conversational English, and developing their academic writing skills.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s needs, learning style and pace, creating a supportive and engaging environment where they can thrive.

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and designed around each student’s learning style and goals. Whether you need help with English, reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, creative writing, vocabulary, or school assignments, I create a supportive environment where students gain both skills and confidence.
I also tutor primary and secondary students in English and can assist with writing development, and homework support. For younger learners, I focus on building strong foundations in reading, sentence construction, spelling, grammar, and writing through fun and interactive lessons.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and may include explanations, guided practice, feedback, and activities to reinforce learning. My goal is not just to help students achieve better grades, but to help them become confident, independent learners who enjoy learning.
