About River
I have experience working as an online tutor for 6months. I studied Spanish at GCSE, where I received a 9/A**. Afterwards, I went onto study Spanish at A Level, where I received an A*. I also completed a speaking project at A Level about Catalonia's fight for independence, for which I received an A*. I enjoy learning languages and spend a lot of my free time researching study techniques for language acquisition, as I no longer study Spanish academically. Having recently completed my GCSEs and A Levels, I have a fresh perspective and understanding of what it takes to achieve success. I also participated in the Army Cadet Force, where I frequently taught cadets and also completed a junior instructor's course, which gave me in-depth knowledge of lesson planning.

My lessons are for students preparing for GCSE exams in Spanish, and they usually last for 1hr. They are interactive and student led. I believe that lessons should be guided by and personalised for students, so that we can make the most of the time we spend together. In order to achieve this, I regularly provide opportunities for feedback. Having achieved success in every level of my studies thus far, I have developed an in-depth understanding of various studying and revision techniques that allow me to customise my lessons to my students' specific learning styles and needs and allow them to succeed.
