About Sarah
I have a degree in English, a postgraduate diploma in journalism and a CELTA certificate and enjoy studying and teaching enormously. I enjoy offering classes tailored to your needs whether you want to pass an exam, write an essay, study for English GCSE, or pass an IELTS qualification - I enjoy the challenge of working on different projects. Seeing my students progress and achieve their goals is key to my job satisfaction. Previous students have gone on to study at Oxford and Birmingham universities respectively and gained above grade 6 at GCSE level. What is your goal?

Hi. I am Sarah and I am a warm tutor who loves books, language and exploring grammar! Would you like to learn in a fun, engaging way so that you look forward to coming online to learn? Would you like to work with someone who really listens to your struggles and tailors lessons to suit you? I specialise in ESOL and IELTS for non-native speakers and GCSE English for native English speakers. Students I have worked with have successfully achieved their goals, whether that be getting into the university of choice; passing an exam; or getting into an educational establishment including Oxford University. I have also worked with students on amending websites and emails so that language is fit for purpose and engages the readers' attention. Work with me and I'll guarantee you an insightful and interesting journey. Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism; BA Hons Degree in English; CELTA from University of Northampton.

Perfect! First session was very encouraging

It would be £20 an hour for one student and £15 an hour each for 2 students. £10 an hour for 3 students. A small travel cost would be extra depending on location.
