About Roshy
As an A Level student myself, who attained Grade 9s in both GCSE English Literature and English Language and am predicted 3 A* for English Literature, History and History of Art, I am certainly well versed with the exam board requirements for both GCSE and A Level English, giving me the perfect insight into how to structure and write essays which consistently attain high marks. I am DBS checked and have experience with teaching others as a Learning Volunteer at the National Portrait Gallery, as well as leading study sessions at my school. I am keen to provide a personal and thorough approach to learning that will ensure successful results for all students, no matter their level or style of learning.

In our first session, I will use a brief assessment to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the student to help me specifically craft my lessons around their needs as well as discussing their own personal goals. I will then be able to use our sessions to provide help with both understanding and learning content and mastering how to structure exam style answers so that students can secure the marks that they deserve. Moreover, I will provide helpful insights into the best ways to make revision resources and study productively, as well as supplying a plethora of my own resources, including exemplar essays. My lessons tend to be between 30 minutes and an hour online (over Zoom) but this can differ to accommodate each student’s individual needs.
