About Aryana
As a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, I have demonstrated my passion for education through many academic endeavours which include debating, writing articles for my school magazine, entering essay competitions and rigorously reading around my subjects. I believe I would be an excellent tutor as I am passionate to communicate my love of learning and my academic knowledge to others. Furthermore, I have experience tutoring students across various levels of education, from primary school students to GCSE students. From these experiences, I have learnt how to base my approach to teaching on the type of student rather than the material they have to learn. Therefore I combine being encouraging and patient with explaining ideas in a clear and relatable manner in order to effectively and efficiently address learning gaps, ensuring clear progress. I am committed to not only helping students excel academically but also fostering a love for learning that will serve them well beyond our tutoring sessions.

Qualifications and experience- I am an A level student at Haberdashers' Girls' School, with 10 GCSE qualifications receiving 9s in all three sciences, Mathematics, English language, French, Spanish and History. I also achieved 3 A* predicted at A level. I am able to tutor GCSE students for English language, Mathematics, Spanish and all sciences; students at 11+ level or in primary school. I have previously volunteered at a local primary school, teaching and creating lessons for 7-8 year olds learning Spanish Lesson length- In order to coincide with student learning pace and level lesson length differs. Standard Sessions: 60 minutes Extended Sessions: For in-depth topics or exam preparation, sessions may extend to 90 minutes. Short Sessions: 30-minute sessions for homework help or quick reviews. Teaching style- I first communicate with my students to first set achievable learning goals in order to create a collaborative learning experience and to keep students motivated and focused. I then use syllabuses provided in order to create my own interactive resources like PowerPoints and worksheets; my previous experience has allowed me to provide a personal learning experience for my students by tailoring my teaching methods to students specific needs and preferences. To supplement student learning experience I utilise quick videos, active recall methods and real life application examples in my teaching. I have a strong commitment to student success and through my supportive and motivating character, I strive to help students achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong love for learning.
