About Momina
I'm a 16 year old in college, studying maths, chemistry and biology A levels. I'm working towards becoming a dentist but teaching is something I think is very disregarded and something I've always wanted to do myself. And so I decided to take up tutoring as a way to also live that passion. As a 16 year old, I can't say I have professional experience teaching :), but as a student I have ALWAYS been the one to help my classmates, adopting different ways to help them understand the work.
And finally, call me a need but I take no offense as a teacher but I myself LOVE learning not just in school. I LIVE maths aswell and have always preferred the language of numbers and my main reason for becoming a GCSE maths tutor, is wanting to help others understand it too.

I start off the first two lessons with what I call 'essential maths skills' which are methods and calculations your everybody has to be confident in as exam questions are built off them. I then start with any topics or weak areas requested by the tutee. I work with the student and where they're at to bring them up to date, aid them in correct topics at school and push then ahead of their school class by teaching them for what comes next. I also on the side, can offer additionaladvice for a few other subjects like English lang and lit, science, geography, R.S if my student wants so.
