About William
I'm William, a recent A-level graduate with a passion for helping students succeed. My teaching approach strikes a balance between mastering subject content and gaining extensive exam practice—both essential for achieving top results. During my own studies, I often found that exam preparation was overlooked, despite being critical to success. That experience inspired me to become a tutor who not only explains the material clearly but also helps students feel confident and prepared when it matters most.

Lessons will consist of understanding the subject content instead of memorisation, with supported exam practice, ensuring proper exam technique. Lessons will be an hour, with the first half covering subject content and building on understanding, then the second half being exam practice on the content learnt in the first half. My qualifications are an A* in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Further Mathematics GCSE. I also have an A* in A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics with an A in Chemistry. My experience consists of running 2 after-school clubs for additional mathematics help, one for years 8 to 11, and one for years 5 to 6. My lessons are for anyone wanting help with A-level or GCSE Mathematics and Chemistry.
