About Jimi
Following my studies at the University of Leeds, I have worked in marketing improving my communication skills ensuring I can explore and explain complicated ideas effectively. I have worked with various youth groups encouraging teens with learning difficulties to write and record music. I have also been employed as a mentor by Confetti in Nottingham for undergraduate degree level students. This included one-to-one Zoom calls. I am also a freelance journalist specialising in politics, culture, music and cinema. I am regularly sent to gigs, events and festivals around the world to review. My work has been published in such prestigious publications as NME, Drowned In Sound, FMS Magazine and Under The Radar.
