About Deborah
I am currently studying psychology whilst working at a secondary school as a teaching assistant. I work closely with SEN students. I have worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years including work experience. I also like to work with students who have dreams and goals and want to be more than what people tell them they're going to be in life. I aspire to help young children achieve their goals and do better so they don’t feel different in school or in the outside world.

When teaching my lessons I will break down everything step by step and encourage the students to know different methods to find the solution. I like using whiteboards as it encourages the student that mistakes are okay and they are able to wipe it off and start again. I will start off with basic learning and build on what they know. I will also encourage them to read specific books when focusing on English and watching specific videos (if they enjoy that) when looking at other subjects. My lessons will be 40 minutes to an hour long depending on how the student is coping. My lessons are targeted for SEN students who are at basic level and primary school children.
