About Vishnu
Welcome! I'm Vishnu (also known as Mr. Balagatte), a student at Rochester Adams High School in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with a strong passion for Biology and Mathematics. I tutor Biology and math up through Algebra 2 and Geometry, as well as foundational Pre-Algebra for younger students. I was honored with the District Biology Department Award for outstanding performance and dedication, and I recently completed Algebra 2 with a 98.1% in Semester 1 and 99.1% in Semester 2.
My interest in biology—especially genetics, anatomy, and cellular science—drives my goal of pursuing a career in biomedical science or biochemical engineering, where I hope to use scientific innovation to help others. I also love the logical structure of math and enjoy helping students break down problems into clear, understandable steps.
With over 50 hours of tutoring experience, including 30 volunteer hours through my school’s tutoring club, I’ve worked with students across many age groups and learning levels. I bring a personal, patient approach to every session, using real-world examples and visual tools to make complex topics easier to grasp. I’m also a skilled project manager and aspiring leader, aiming to become the Charter President of the National Honor Society and to found a STEM outreach club at my school.

There are three classes offered: Biology, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2.
Biology:
Biology is the study of living organisms and life processes. Students explore cell structure, genetics, evolution, human anatomy, ecology, and basic biochemistry. Labs and experiments help students understand how life functions at all levels.
Algebra 1:
Algebra 1 introduces students to variables, expressions, linear equations, inequalities, and functions. It builds a foundation for problem-solving, graphing, and logical thinking through real-world applications and mathematical models.
Algebra 2:
Algebra 2 expands on Algebra 1 by covering quadratic equations, polynomials, rational expressions, logarithms, sequences, and complex numbers. It strengthens critical thinking and prepares students for advanced math, like pre-calculus and statistics.

I am pleased to write about how great of tutor and advisor Vishnu is.
I had taken up the challenge to study for the Algebra 2 Credit By Exam, and Vishnu had done the greatest favor for me, by helping me study all the concepts for the exam.
He went above and beyond, getting on multiple calls with me to answer all my questions. He even did me and favor by coming to my house to help me take practice tests. He did a great job tutoring me overall, and was a great leader while doing it. Some of the characteristics he displayed were exceptional.
He was extremely patient with me teaching me all the concepts, and was able to communicate with me well. He even managed to host classes with 5 other students, teaching us critical concepts for the exam.
To sum it up, I am glad I went to Vishnu for help, as he made a big impact on my understanding of the course. I am confident he will be a great leader, tutor and advisor in the future!
Vishnu is very patient and he is able to simplify complicated concepts. He ensures each student is able to understand and apply each concept. He is very dedicated and passionate.
