About Fanný
I am born and raised in Iceland and moved to the UK to study Musical theatre. I am currently about to graduate from PPA with a BA in Musical Theatre and was a recipient of an Acting Award during my training and also got Distinction when graduating from ArtsEd’s Full time Foundation Course. I aim to create a nurturing yet ambitious environment with my students giving them the freedom and a safe place to express themselves and to push their boundaries. I thoroughly enjoy teaching since I believe that there is so much to learn from the student as well.

About the lesson

During the lessons I would teach and explain concepts created by Stanislavsky (Objectives, uniting etc) as well as looking into other practitioners and methods like Laban, Meisner and actioning. We would look into a variety of stage plays and musicals and exploring scenes from different times and writers looking into classical text like Shakespeare as well as newly published plays.
