About Emily

Hi there! I'm your future Chinese tutor, Emily, and I'm so excited to meet you! I’m passionate about helping people learn how to speak, read, and write in Chinese—in a way that’s fun, practical, and confidence-boosting. I believe that language is more than just vocabulary and grammar—it's a key to understanding a whole culture, a way to connect with others, and a skill that opens up exciting opportunities. I love teaching because I get to share not just the Chinese language, but also the beauty of Chinese culture, stories, and traditions. Every student learns differently, so I always personalize the lessons to suit your pace and interests. My goal is to make Chinese easy and enjoyable for you—through games, real-life conversations, creative writing, songs, and even some Chinese snacks if we’re learning in person! If you're ready to start your journey into Mandarin, I’m here to cheer you on every step of the way. Let’s make learning Chinese an adventure you’ll love!
