About Evelyn
International Relations graduate. I have lived 12 years in the United States, 10 years in Mexico and 1yr 8mo. in Japan. I have been an English and Spanish teacher in Japan and a English and Japanese teacher in Mexico. I am a language lover and am currently studying Japanese, Korean and Portuguese.
I passed the JLPT N2 in December 2019 and studied abroad in a university in Tokyo, Japan for one year. I am super social and excited to know people who love languages like I do. I hope to help you on your language journey.

My classes are adapted to the individual needs of the student.
Laid back (Spanish or Japanese:
Casual conversation. Asking a lot of questions so you can practice as much as possible. Correcting your pronunciation, giving you tips on ways to phrase things more naturally, usage of slang and colloquial phrases, culture etc.
Structured (Spanish or Japanese):
Follow a textbook, do exercises together, listen to audios, grammar and vocabulary lessons, pdfs, etc.
Semi structured (Spanish or Japanese):
The student writes down their concerns/weak spots, questions they had with homework, grammar points that they cant use naturally, etc. and I answer all of your questions and give you more examples so you can fully grasp the topic.
JLPT prep (Japanese):
Grammar, vocab and kanji prep for JLPT N5,N4 and N3.
Japanese from zero:
Learn hiragana and katakana, basic words and phrases, simple kanji and basic grammar.
You can learn Spanish or Japanese with me in English, Spanish or Japanese.
