  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

I vividly remember my first encounter with a computer during my childhood. It was an old desktop running Windows 95, and I was fascinated by the endless possibilities it seemed to offer. I started with simple things like playing games and gradually moved to experimenting with basic coding. That first experience sparked my curiosity, and I knew I wanted to understand how everything worked behind the screen. Over time, my hobby turned into a passion and ultimately a career.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

The advent of cloud computing has had a massive impact on how technology is leveraged today. It changed how software is developed, deployed, and maintained by providing scalability and reducing the barriers for entry into tech. In the future, I believe artificial intelligence and quantum computing will be pivotal in taking us to the next level, offering solutions to problems we can't even imagine yet.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

My expertise lies in software engineering, which is the foundation of all modern technology. Writing clean, efficient code ensures that applications and systems can be scalable, secure, and maintainable. Software is the backbone of every major industry today-from healthcare to finance-and being able to create reliable systems is crucial for the technological world to continue evolving. I'm particularly passionate about teaching others the importance of good coding practices, as I believe it's key to building sustainable tech solutions.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

While I respect figures like Gates, Jobs, and Zuckerberg for their contributions to technology, I find inspiration in the day-to-day problem solvers-the engineers and scientists who quietly innovate and build the tools that shape our future. People like Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, and Margaret Hamilton, who helped code the software for NASA's Apollo missions, inspire me because they've made huge contributions that often go unnoticed by the public but are essential to our everyday tech world.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

During my university days, I participated in a hackathon where our team was given 24 hours to solve a real-world problem using technology. We were sleep-deprived and stressed, but it was one of the most exhilarating experiences. Our team developed a prototype for an app that could automate tedious administrative tasks for students. It wasn't just about coding; it was about collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving under pressure. That experience cemented my love for tech and its ability to make a tangible impact on people's lives.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I would tell them that everyone feels that way at the beginning. The key is to break it down into smaller steps and not be afraid to make mistakes. IT may seem complex, but once you understand the basics, it becomes much more approachable. The world of technology is constantly evolving, which means no one knows everything. The goal is to stay curious and be open to learning.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Besides technology, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring. I love helping others grow and realize their potential in the tech world. Outside of computers, I enjoy reading about history and psychology-understanding how human behavior shapes society is something I find fascinating. I also enjoy hiking, as it allows me to disconnect and refresh my mind.
  • What makes you a Superprof in IT?

My ability to simplify complex topics and make learning accessible to people at any level is what sets me apart. I am not only passionate about software engineering but also about helping others find their place in this world. I focus on fostering critical thinking and creativity, empowering my students to not just follow instructions but to understand the "why" behind every concept. This, I believe, is what makes me a Superprof.
