About Sebastian
Composer and arranger dedicated to teaching since 2013 with extensive experience in educational contexts either with private lessons or schools.
I currently reside in Gatineau and work at the Nepean School of Music, Manotick School of Music, and Kanata School of Music teaching piano, voice, guitar, electric bass, composition, and theory at different levels and with a range of students from 5 to 70 years old.
I compliment these areas with solfeggio, orchestration, popular harmonies, counterpoint, and melodic conduction. My focus is to transmit a more holistic view of music within what the student wants and needs to learn to fulfill his or her goals.

The classes I offer integrate a balance between three fundamental areas in the development of each student: Theory, Technique, and Repertoire in a friendly environment.
The theory is necessary to understand the musical language that will be developed to achieve a better understanding and promote autonomous artistic development. The technique will be fundamental to interpreting the songs with the most adequate posture, avoiding injuries and bad habits. Repertoire will be necessary to align the needs and interests of the students according to their sensibilities. Styles include artists from Taylor Swift, and Olivia Rodrigo to Megadeth, or musical styles such as jazz, rock, pop, metal, classical, etc.
I seek to provide a comprehensive approach that incorporates diverse areas that provide a holistic understanding of music, contextualized to the tastes and needs of the student. With over ten years of experience, I am a proud educator of over five hundred students, consistently delivering my expertise and obtaining exceptional results from students.
