About Surbhi
Hello! I'm excited to embark on this journey of learning with you. I want to create a learning environment where you feel valued, respected, and motivated. A place where asking questions is encouraged, mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth, and where your unique strengths and talents are celebrated.
I have a strong mathematics/applied mathematics background with more than 15 years of teaching experience with Junior Cert, Leaving Cert (for all levels), and third-level (University) students.
I have done my Ph.D. in machine learning (Imperial College, London), MSc, and MPhil in Mathematics. At this moment I am a lecturer at a university. I can help you to understand Maths by using different methodologies and you can get your confidence back. Let's make learning fun and exciting!

My approach to tutoring centers around understanding the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
. After talking to the student, I can assess the student's current
level of understanding and change my teaching style
accordingly.
. Once I have an understanding of the student's strengths and
areas for improvement, I work with them to set clear and
achievable goals for our tutoring sessions.
. Learning can be challenging, so I strive to create a supportive
and encouraging environment where students feel
comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
. I can understand that every student is unique, so I remain
flexible. I'm always open to adjusting my teaching methods
based on the student's feedback and evolving needs. Finally,
we have to work together.
