About Yuto
Hello! My name is Yuto, and I'm a native Japanese speaker, born and raised in Japan. I've worked in hotels and have had the opportunity to talk with many guests from both Japan and abroad. I've had many opportunities to interact with international guests, so I enjoy talking not only about Japanese but also about Japanese culture, travel, hotels, restaurants, and more. I also have experience studying abroad, so I understand the feelings you have when learning a foreign language, such as "I want to be able to speak more" or "What does this expression mean?" In the lessons, I want to practice natural Japanese that you can actually use in conversation, not just studying from textbooks. Beginners are also very welcome! Whether your goal is to "learn Japanese that you can use when traveling in Japan," "be able to talk with Japanese people more," "talk about Japanese culture," or "simply have fun speaking Japanese," any goal is fine. Let's practice Japanese in a fun way, like talking with a friend, rather than in a stiff, formal class! I look forward to talking with you all.

☆Teaching Methods and Techniques☆ My lessons are designed to help you learn Japanese in a fun way through conversation! I don't just focus on grammar and vocabulary; I also emphasize "how Japanese people actually speak." For example, we practice while imagining real-life situations such as traveling, going to restaurants or hotels, shopping, or talking with friends. Questions like "Is this the right way to say it?" are also very welcome. I want you to speak as much as you can without worrying about making mistakes! ☆Typical Lesson Plan☆ First, we discuss "What would you like to talk about today?" and decide on the content for the day. Basically, the flow is: - Free talk about recent events and hobbies - Confirming words and expressions you didn't know - Practicing new expressions and grammar - Actually using them in conversation. Of course, it's not the same every time. "I want to talk about travel today!" "I want to talk about Japanese culture!" "I just want to practice speaking Japanese!" etc. We can change the content according to your mood and purpose for the day. ☆My Unique Strengths☆ Japanese is my native language, and I have worked in the hotel industry. At the hotel, I spoke with many guests, not only Japanese guests but also guests from overseas. Therefore, I can teach you not only the Japanese found in textbooks, but also real Japanese such as "This is how Japanese people usually say things," "This way of saying it might be a little too polite," and "This is a more natural way to say it if you're talking to a friend!" I myself have experience studying abroad, so I understand the feeling of "What does this mean?" when learning a foreign language. I would be happy if you could practice Japanese in a way that feels like talking to a friend, rather than a stiff, formal class! ☆ Lessons are for you ☆ Beginners to intermediate level learners are welcome! ・Those who have just started learning Japanese ・Those who want to practice speaking Japanese ・Those who want to learn Japanese before traveling to Japan ・Those who want to talk about Japanese culture and life ・Those who want to learn natural Japanese, not just textbook Japanese ・Those who want to learn Japanese to use in hotels and restaurants Age and educational background do not matter. It's okay even if you can hardly speak any Japanese. Let's learn to speak little by little together!
