• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I started my singing as an extracurricular activity when I was in school. I used to perform in various cultural events held by the school. Sonu Nigam Sir and Anup Jalota Ji have been my favorite singers since then. I liked to listen to their music for hours. That's how I really got into music.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My Guru Pt. Shri Rajeev Bhatt Ji has been my motivation that pushed me into teaching. Everyone has their unique way of learning. He taught me how to get into the mind of a student and explore their way of learning to help them get by.

• How does your work help society?

  Music is the best way to keep oneself calm and balanced in life. It may be someone's hobby but it works like meditation at the same time. Music helps people live a stress-free life and maintain a healthy emotional balance.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  Padma Bhushan Pt. Shri Vishwamohan Bhatt Ji is my role model. His discipline, dedication, and knowledge inspire me a lot.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Traveling is the only thing I can think of besides music. My profession is my hobby in itself.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  None that I can think of.
