About Emma
I continue to work as a professional musician since 1991 and I started tutoring music in 1995. I provide vocals, strings, and songwriting services for indie artists, recording labels and publishing companies.
I learned Classical Violin with Ms Winifred Genin of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in the 80s and 90s and did all my exams with the ABRSM. I can put you or child in for exams with the ABRSM and Trinity College.
I also play Folk, Jazz and Electronic styles, but firmly hold the belief all fabulous exploration is rooted in Classical technique and musical knowledge.
TEACHING
I teach in-person at my home in L15.
I help Singing students learn vocal technique and develop their voices, and I also coach artists (pre- and post-tours, in studio sessions, before performances and auditions).
I teach Violin up to Grade 8 and Viola and Cello up to Intermediate Level. ABRSM and Trinity exam prep available at request.
I teach Piano up to Grade 5.
I teach Music Theory up to Grade 5 and several other musical pursuits (mentioned below).
I coach music clients (vocal technique, performance and artist development), teach music masterclasses and songwriting workshops, and tutor individual and group learners (strings, piano, music theory).
I play many instruments, but my specialities are vocals & strings (I'm a classically-trained violinist and I also play piano, guitar, trombone, viola, cello, double bass, and a tiny bit of clarinet!).
