About Frank
The first time I touched a guitar was in a music class during high school. Since then, I've learned and performed in all sorts of contexts, and I continue to love the instrument despite how difficult it can be. I've dabbled in multiple genres (mainly rock, classical, and jazz) and built up a wide range of techniques.
I want to use my experiences to guide those who want to start playing guitar. Using the knowledge I've gained from my journey, I'll ensure you take the right steps as you build your guitar foundation. Through this, I want to help others in their own musical journey, and make sure they progress efficiently by avoiding the mistakes I made while starting out.
I'm passionate about the beauty of the guitar, and its ability to express. In my lessons, I want to spread my love for the guitar, and help teach others how to express themselves on the instrument.

These lessons are designed to build strong fundamentals as you begin your journey on the guitar. We'll cover basic chord shapes, the correct right-hand technique(s), reading tablature and charts, and useful scales.
I approach teaching with a 'fun-first' attitude, because I believe reliable progress comes from enjoying what you do. In everything I teach, I want my students to understand the basic principles behind what they're doing. The students themselves choose what songs and styles they want to delve into. I want to make each students' guitar journey fun and memorable, while building up their confidence and technique at their own pace.
Each lesson will be about an hour in length. I'm mainly targeting lessons towards beginners, or intermediate players who want to work on their fundamentals.
