About Flora
Hi, I'm Flora Palfrey and I'm very looking forward to meeting you and getting you excited about Maths!
I want to work with you to increase your confidence and help you feel comfortable in Maths. Whether you are struggling with understanding important concepts or just want to increase your grades a level, I am here to help.
In my A Levels, I got A*s in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and I got 9s in all my GCSEs. I will be going to Glasgow University next year to study Medicine.

My tutoring sessions are planned to suit my student's current knowledge and confidence level. I can tutor pupils from primary school age to A Level, and change my approach for each student and their age.
I tailor my approach to individual learning styles and use different methods for each student, like analogies for new concepts or practice questions to consolidate knowledge. I particularly like to use past paper questions to help my student understand how to maximise marks in exams and earn the best score possible.
I have experience tutoring one-to-one for primary and secondary school students in maths, biology, chemistry and physics.
Each session is one hour long to allow enough time to settle and clearly learn and consolidate important topics.
