About Eva
Bonjour ! Kia ora!
I'm Eva, 28, from France. I was born and raised there until I was 24, when I decided to step out of my comfort zone and start exploring the world.
My journey abroad began in Sweden - and honestly, that’s where everything changed. I learned Swedish with people from all over the world and while getting to know my classmates, I realized they were genuinely curious about French, its culture and its little expressions that don’t really translate. That’s when it clicked: why not share my own language too?
I then moved to Australia, where I started training in French teaching through an online course with a French organization. At the same time, I had my first real teaching experience: working with children aged 9 to 13 through a language association. Such an amazing and funny experience!
Now I’m in New Zealand continuing this journey and doing what I love most: teaching French in a way that feels human and never boring.
I love meeting new people, sharing cultures and proving that learning a language doesn’t have to feel like school. It can actually be fun, natural and full of real conversations.

French is my mother tongue and I have always been passionate about languages and cultural subjects. I graduated in 2024 with a French Teaching Diploma from the Alliance Française.
I have taught both French and English in Australia and Cambodia, which has helped me develop a flexible and adaptable teaching style across different educational systems.
Let's be honest! Language lessons can sometimes feel a bit academic and boring so I make sure mine are fun, interactive and engaging. I believe learning should be enjoyable, not stressful, and I love creating a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. And don't panic!! I also speak fluent English so communication is never an issue. ;)
In our first lesson, I take time to get to know you, your level, interests and objectives so I can tailor each session to your needs and goals (focusing on grammar, writing, oral expression and/or comprehension).
Lessons usually last 1 hour but can be adjusted depending on your availability and learning preferences.
I work with all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners and with students of different ages.
I believe learning a language is a shared experience - not just homework but a real interaction and communication!
