About Deborah
Hello !
I was born in France 30 years ago, and despite a 2 year stay in Iceland, I have always lived there! I love travel, adventure and newness, and I have done many different jobs in my life. Today, I have dedicated myself to teaching French to foreigners for more than a year.
I give my lessons remotely, via skype, and I trained to be able to offer my students ever more useful and pleasant supports and advice. I speak English fluently, so it is possible to take lessons even if you have a beginner level in French! We can easily switch to English if the understanding is complicated.

I don't like to consider myself a teacher, because too often this word is associated with a feeling of superiority. I prefer to do coaching! I'm not there to teach a specific program, but to help my students in their learning of French and share with them all my knowledge in french.
I adapt completely to everyone's goals and desires.
I use different media such as newspaper articles, videos, flashcards, images, songs, games, exercises, etc ...
We can practice together :
- conversation in French, but also debate (ability very requested in the DELF exam B1 - B2)
- oral or written comprehension
- pronunciation
- written production
- fluent French in a situation (role playing)
- grammar / conjugation
- reading
- etc ...
With beginners, I like to work with topics. We learn vocabulary and grammar around choosen topics, we practice it together orally, and we put ourselves in a situation through role plays. This allows you to have a framework, and not to feel lost in the middle of French complexity!
