About Tiah
My name is Tiah and I am from Canada. I am a TEFL-certified English teacher and a fluent English and Spanish speaker with a passion for helping students build their English skills and confidence. I am friendly, patient, approachable, and enjoy creating a comfortable and positive learning environment for students from different cultures and backgrounds. My experience in tourism, customer service, sales, and working with international clients has taught me how to communicate clearly, adapt to different needs, and connect with people from around the world.
Outside of teaching, I am a passionate traveler and have a strong connection to the scuba diving industry. I have worked closely with scuba diving and previously managed a dive center specializing in shark diving. I love meeting people from different countries, learning about new cultures, and sharing my own experiences, and I bring that same enthusiasm and openness into my English lessons.

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with a completed 120-hour TEFL certification and am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have a strong interest in helping students improve their English communication skills, build confidence, and feel comfortable using English in everyday situations.
My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-focused. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and practicing without fear of judgment. I adapt my communication and teaching style to each student’s level, learning goals, and individual needs. I focus on practical communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and conversational English, while encouraging students to actively participate and develop confidence.
Although I am beginning my professional career as a TEFL teacher, I bring extensive experience communicating and working with international clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My goal is to make every lesson engaging, practical, and supportive while helping students develop English skills they can confidently use in real-life situations.
