About Daphne
My name is Daphne and I have had an extremely interesting life doing lots of different things. I have lived in Malaysia, Singapore, Langkawi and England; and have worked as a nurse, a journalist, an arts events program director, an editor and tutor. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and one way I achieve this is to teach English. My genuine interest in my students' lives helps them share their experiences and become comfortable and proficient in English.

My lessons are immersive and will place students in environments that allow for natural use of English, including growing their vocabulary. Homework will include reading and writing exercises, and discussions, all tailored according to the interests of the students!
