About Rubem
I’ve been living in New Zealand since I was 15 and I love jiu jitsu, I’ve picked up a lot of useful, everyday English that actually helps in real life. I want to teach because I know how hard it can be to learn English, especially when you’re in a new place. Since I’ve been through it myself, I get it. I do also have parents that are still learning and I understand how frustrating it can be at times. I want to make it easier for others. Helping someone grow and feel more confident in English feels really good, and it’s also a fun way for me to keep learning too.
